CELTECH RE-CERTIFIED FOR ISO 9001:2008 STANDARDS 

 

The CENTRAL LUZON COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (CELTECH) was re-certified for the third time by the Anglo Japanese American (AJA) Registrar Inc. for the International Standard Organization BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Standards during the AJA surveillance audit held last July 30, 2012.

CELTECH is the only College in the City of Olongapo and Zambales with this certification. It has established a documented Quality Management System (QMS) since the year 2000 which was first certified by the Anglo Japanese American (AJA) Registrars, by the Environmental Quality System (EQS) for the International Standards Organization BS EN ISO 9001:1994 Standards and later to the BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Standards with Certificate No. AJA03/6159 from the United Kingdom.  The registration covers  all CHED and TESDA approved courses and the school administration.

BRIGHTFIELDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

WELCOME:  BRIGHTFIELDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

 

Academic Institutions providing basic education have set their sights on the emergence of  an international school at the heart of Olongapo City. The former Brightfields Montessori School is now flying its new banner as BRIGHTFIELDS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.

In an effort to heighten the standards of basic education they provide to the Filipino youth, the BMS Board of Trustees has decided to change the name of the school to BIS by virtue of Board Resolution No. 01 Series of 2012. The new entity has been registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission and granted  Registry  No. CN20030056 as indorsed by the Department of Education.

 

At present, BIS offers the following courses :

 

                PRE-SCHOOL             -           Montessori Curriculum (providing the requisites of the Enhanced

                                                                Universal Kindergarten Curriculum)

                                                            Junior Casa     

                                                            Senior Casa     

                                                            Advance Casa 

            GRADE SCHOOL       -           K to 12 Curriculum; Singapore EMS                                                                                                   Grade 1            - Grade 6

                                               

            JUNIOR HIGH  SCHOOL       -           K to 12 Curriculum; Singapore EMS

                                                            Grade 7 – 8

 

Application to offer Government permit to operate Grades 9 – 10 will be completed in SY 2013-2014.

 

As the baby company of CENTRAL LUZON COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Brightfields International School is ready for the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (Grades 11 and 12).

 

The Board of Trustees embarks on different innovative ideas in order to better prepare students to meet changing national and global needs .  Local and international educators working for the school pool in their ideas for the school’s curriculum review, internal and external assessments and continuing professional development.

Happy Birthday Sir RPL

RPL’s Birthday : An Event Worth Remembering

 

It is September once again, and as part of the CELTECH tradition, a celebration of life happened and gathered together a President, his very beautiful wife, his three beautiful children, his people who regard him with the highest respects and students who look at him as the epitome of inspiration…. What more can he ask for?

 

Yes, September 5 is Renato P. Legaspi’s birthday.   Fr. Joey Corpuz emphasized “just water” for the cleansing and youthful effect of the gift of life in the Eucharistic celebration which  highlighted the event.  The recognition of student achievers and graduates followed which culminated with the awarding of a P50,000.00 cash reward and another P50,000.00 scholarship award for Chester Emmanuel Lagmay for placing 7th in the PRC examinations.

RELIEF OPERATIONS

CELTECH STUDENT BODY ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS RELIEF OPERATIONS FOR THE HABAGAT VICTIMS OF OLONGAPO CITY

 

The Central Luzon College of Science and Technology is always apt to perform their share of  their human obligation to the needy. 

 

After the City of Olongapo was plagued with heavy rains caused by two typhoons and the monsoon rains and affected thousands of Olongapenos, during the first two weeks of Auguts, the CELTIANS  were the first of the student groups from Olongapo City to respond to the plight of those who were heavily devastated by the floods.  This was made possible through the CELTECH Student Body Officers under the able leadership of John Paul Belleca, the SBO President , Ms. Amabelle Charity Puruganan, the Guidance Coordinator and Ms. Jenelyn Jaballa, the NSTP Coordinator with the National Service Training Program (NSTP) students and the assistance of all students through their donations of cash, canned goods and other grocery items and used clothes.  Alma C.
